Ingredients
  • 4 large slices of bread (crust optional)
  • Softened butter
  • ⅓ cup Marscarpone cheese
  • ½ cup Roadrunner Chile Company Fire Roasted Chopped Green Chile, drained
  • ½ cup Gorgonzola crumbles
  • 2 small ripe Bartlett, Anjou or Comice pears, skin-on and thinly sliced
Instructions
  1. Butter all bread slices and turn over.
  2. Combine Marscarpone and green chile.
  3. Spread this combination thickly on all four slices of bread.
  4. On two of the bread slices, apply a layer of Gorgonzola crumbles.
  5. Top the Gorgonzola with the pear slices.
  6. Close up the two sandwiches with the other two slices of bread.
  7. Grill both sides over low heat covered until bread is dark brown and cheese has melted.
  8. Remove from heat, cut in halves, and serve.
