Green Chile Salsa Pinwheels


These green chile salsa pinwheels, made with cream cheese, salsa, black olives, pimentos, cheddar cheese and green onion are perfect for parties or tailgating.  They are easy to make and always a crowd pleaser.   Salsa pinwheels are made ahead of time and chilled for several hours so they are also great for including in a packed lunch.

  • 1 pkg softened cream cheese
  • 4 oz Roadrunner Chile Company Green Chile Salsa
  • 1 small jar chopped pimentos
  • 12 finely chopped pitted black olives
  • 4 oz finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green onion
  • 5 large flour tortillas
  1. Beat the first six ingredients together in a large bowl until thoroughly blended.
  2. Spread on each of the tortillas. Roll up tightly, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Slice into ½ to ¾ inch pieces with a sharp knife (discard ends). Serve cold with additional salsa on the side.


  1. I brought these to the office for potluck. They were gobbled up! Bringing to tailgating party next weekend. Yum.
