Sweet, tangy, and spicy. Made with red chile from the Hatch Valley of New Mexico, these green beans are definitely not boring!
Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 3 cups frozen whole green beans (we like Bybee Foods Petite Green Beans from Costco)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Roadrunner Chile Company Gourmet Red Chile Cooking Sauce
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Steam beans 4 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, chile sauce, garlic, and honey.
  3. Heat a skillet with the oil over medium heat, then transfer the beans to the skillet. Fry for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the chile mixture, then continue cooking for 3-5 minutes until the liquid has almost evaporated.
  5. Serve immediately.
